About Robert Hopkins

Robert Hopkins

Robert was introduced to photography at age ten by his grandfather. He learned to process film and make contact prints in the basement of the family home in Philadelphia, using a developer's kit he received from his parents at Christmas. After a lengthy hiatus, he rekindled his childhood interest when he took up digital photography in 1999. Though dabbling in studio and still-life work, he developed a niche with local landscapes; the changing scenery of Cheesequake Park, Sandy Hook and Cape May dominate his efforts.
